8U
The OJG Girls program is a strong believer in the USA Hockey "ADM" style of hockey development. As such, we typically play half ice hockey using blue pucks. We typically do not have set goalies, we have girls try all positions which includes testing out the goalie position. Later in the season, some girls will gravitate towards goalie and play it more often.
Ages
The 8U birth years starting in March 2026 (for the 2026 - 2027) season are 2018 (older birth year) and 2019 (younger birth year).
Strong 2020 players can register and play with 8U. Brand new 2020 players should register with 6U.
